Vanda Research today announced that its partners have appointed Angus Hume as Chief Executive Officer.
Angus’ appointment is effective immediately and alongside his CEO role he will continue to lead sales for the firm. Outgoing CEO and founding partner Eric Liu will return to his prior role as head of research.
“We are fortunate to have someone of Angus’ calibre within Vanda and we knew when we hired him he would one day lead the firm,” said Jason Ambrose, Vanda Research Chairman. “With the growth of our client base over the last 18 months, Eric and I both feel now is the time for Angus to take the lead at the firm. He has shown the clear ability to lead throughout his 20-year career in finance, and prior to joining Vanda led a team of 45 as global head of sales at BCA Research.”
